A blend of evidence-based and creative therapies to support children, families, and schools.
Every child is unique, which is why I draw on a range of approaches to support regulation, resilience, and participation. Each approach offers different tools, but all share the same foundation: child-centred practice, safety, and collaboration with families and schools.
Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapy helps children take part in the activities that matter most - from learning in class to playing with friends. I use a child-centred, practical approach to reduce barriers, support regulation, and build everyday skills for participation.
EMDR
EMDR is a structured therapy that helps children process traumatic or “stuck” memories using gentle bilateral stimulation such as eye movements or tapping. Adapted with drawing, play, or storytelling, it supports children to reduce distress, reprocess difficult experiences, and regain a sense of safety and control.
Children's Therapy
Through play, children can express themselves, process experiences, and develop coping skills. I draw on TraumaPlay®, AutPlay, and Animal Assisted Play Therapy to create safe, engaging spaces for healing and growth.
Safe and Sound Protocol
The SSP uses specially filtered music to support nervous system regulation and connection. By helping children feel safe and emotionally available, it can improve attention, social engagement, and readiness to learn.
